Mainstay Emergency Exit Steel Door
A substantially constructed emergency exit door, complete with frame, to suit individual opening requirements. This door can be fitted with a variety of locking devices and hardware.
DOOR LEAF
The door leaf is manufactured with an internal frame of 31.8 x 31.8 x 1.6mm ERW box section, with 2mm mild steel plate to form the skin to both internal and external face.
The leaf is mounted in a purpose made frame manufactured from 100 x 50 x 3.2mm mild steel RHS, with 25 x 23 x 3mm mild steel angle to form the slam rebate.
Threshold constructed from 100 x 6mm mild steel flat.
Door leaf and frame have a primed finish as standard, for painting in situ by others.
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
Pickets are formed from galvanised cold rolled steel and form the main framework for the door on the inside of the building. The top of each picket is supported from the top track with a hardened steel, grease sealed, multi-ball roller. The bottom of each picket runs within the bottom track and gives the door its immense strength in high winds.

OPTION E1 - PUSH-BAR SURFACE MOUNTED PANIC LATCH
- Briton 378E (or equivalent)
- Single latching point to side
- Can be combined with the Outside Access Device
OPTION E2 - PUSH-BAR VERTICAL PANIC BOLT
- Briton 376E (or equivalent)
- Single latching point to side
- Can be combined with the Outside Access Device
OPTION E3 - PUSH-BAR MORTICE PANIC NIGHT-LATCH
- Briton 379E-N (or equivalent)
- Single latching point to side
- Can be combined with the Outside Access Device
- Also accepts standard euro or oval cylinder for outside access
OPTION E3A - NIGHT LATCH WITH EXTERNAL ACCESS
Briton 379E-N (or equivalent) as in option E3/S but with alternative method of outside access by means of standard euro, oval or round cylinder and pull handle instead of the 1413E/LE Outside Access Device.
OPTION E4/D - DOUBLE DOOR PUSH-BAR SET
- Special combination to suit a double leaf door set
- Compromises the 378E for the first opening leaf matched with the 376E for the second opening leaf
- Can be combined with the Outside Access Device
OUTSIDE ACCESS DEVICE
- Briton 1413E/LE (or equivalent)
- Supplied with euro profile cylinder and lever handle as standard
- Combines with panic hardware to allow external access.
